Her experience with georeferenced tools and collaborative work with peers across the continent led to the publication of comprehensive vegetation, ecosystems, and threats maps for different geographies, including the whole of Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. Her ecological systems map provided the basis for the publication of a red list assessment for tropical and temperate forests of the Americas.
