Professor at the Department of Forest Sciences at the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, University of São Paulo (ESALQ/USP), where she coordinates the Laboratory of Environmental Education and Policy (OCA/ESALQ). She holds a degree in Geography, a Master’s in Natural Resource Management and Local Development, and a Ph.D. in Earth System Science from the National Institute for Space Research (INPE). Currently, she investigates the relationship between public policies, climate change, and forest restoration, applying an interdisciplinary approach that integrates qualitative and quantitative methods with spatially explicit modeling.
