Renzo Mascote de Andrade is a Brazilian philosopher and activist deeply committed to the protection of the Amazon and the social development of its peoples. He is a PhD student in Philosophy at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) in Ethics and Political Philosophy's domain, where his research examines existential risk and climate ethics. Renzo is a leader in the Socialist Youth of the Democratic Labour Party (PDT), a member of the Science Panel for the Amazon's Youth Advisory Committee, a Climate Reality Brazil Youth Climate Ambassador, represents the state of Pará at the Legal Amazon Youth Leaders Summit, and has participated in national and international initiatives on climate justice and youth politics. He is particularly interested in the intersection of philosophy, climate action, and Brazil's role in a changing global order.
